    Dear Santhosh B S,

This behavior can occur if the affected devices have pending restarts, corrupted update components, or conflicts with existing policies. We recommend the following steps:

Verify that the devices have network connectivity to Windows Update or your WSUS/SCCM distribution points.

Run the Windows Update Troubleshooter and check WindowsUpdate.log for specific error codes.

Clear the SoftwareDistribution and Catroot2 folders, then retry the update.

Ensure that the servicing stack update (SSU) for the month is installed before the cumulative update.

If the issue persists, please provide the update KB number, error codes from the failed devices, and any relevant logs so we can assist with deeper analysis.

If my answer is useful for you, please vote for it.

    Best regards,

    Quinnie Quoc.
