Hi, I am missing half of the teleprompter functions. My PPT is up to date, and the subscription is active. This means I have no automatic scrolling of the script or scroll speed. I cannot access the bottom 'views' menus either. Latest macOS Sequoia 15.6.1 is installed. It is not there. HELP!

    Hi NS

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum and sharing your concern.

Based on your description, I've investigated this further by replicating your setup in my testing environment, using macOS Sequoia 15.6.1 and PowerPoint version 16.101 (build 25091314). During my tests, I located a "Views" icon at the top of the interface, specifically within the Record tab. Would you mind verifying if this appears for you in that location? For reference, here's a screenshot of the dropdown menu I observed, which includes options such as Teleprompter View and Presenter View:

User's imageSeveral other users have reported similar issues with the auto-scroll functionality in PowerPoint's teleprompter on macOS. Upon review, it appears that PowerPoint for macOS does not currently support the advanced teleprompter features, such as auto-scroll and scroll speed controls, which are available in the Windows version. To confirm, ensure you are in Presenter View rather than the standard editing mode, as the controls are exclusive to this view. Additionally, navigate to the Recording Studio and select Teleprompter View from the dropdown. If the scroll or play buttons are still absent, this is consistent with the known macOS constraint.

Microsoft is aware of these limitations and has been working to bring more features to PowerPoint for Mac over time. While this Q&A forum is a valuable space for sharing insights and receiving technical guidance, the most effective way to influence product development is by submitting feedback directly to Microsoft. You can do this via Help > Feedback > Report a Problem in the PowerPoint app or through the PowerPoint Feedback Portal.

While you won't receive an individual response, this channels your input to the development team for consideration, and sufficient user demand could prompt future updates. I truly appreciate your patience and feedback as we continue to improve the experience for all users.
