Hi,
My 13 year old son - Antoni - lost his Microsoft account (Removed PII@gmail.com). This account was hacked during his conversation with the game player on Discord. He was asked to take a part in the competition and during this conversation he was asked for typing his login and after that confirming his account using the one-time password. After that it was impossible for him to continue playing Minecraft and his account was gone. All that situation took place on 5th or 6th September 2025.
What is strange I used Microsoft Safety to monitor his time on the computer and I can see that instead of his email address Removed PII@gmail.com now there is: **@outlook.com. This new address is now in my family under the name Removed PII
My son lost his Minecraft and Minecraft Dungeos account - which is a really big loss for him. Please let me know if there is a chance to regain this Microsoft account or any chance to get new one for him.

Hi! Sorry to hear that your son lost access to his account. To recover a hacked account, it’s necessary to fill out the recovery form. If the email address was changed, the original account email should have received a notification with a link to cancel the change, that link remains active for a few days, so he could try using it. Additionally, the recovery email should still work to regain access if you use the new email that appears listed under family settings.
Thank you Jeronimo for your reply. However it is impossible to recovery the account as using my son's login I've got information that this account doesn't exists. Using the new email address when trying to get the account after filling form I've got information that there is not enough informations to recovery. Do you have any other ideas? Is it possible to try to recover account directly from Minecraft?
