Cannot scroll Photos Explore (see all) in OneDrive

I have a large collections of geotagged photos in OneDrive.

When I try to see all places in Photos->Explore->Places See All, a set of photos with associated locations is loaded but the scroll bar is not present so it's impossible to browse.

I did already several tests:

  • Used four different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Mozilla) also in Incognito mode.
  • Cleaned cache
  • Logout and login

Additional info.

  • I'm using Macbook with macos Tahoe but the issue was present even with earlier O.S.
  • If I'm zooming out the page up to 20%, I can see more tiles with other locations to make the page full but still no scroll available
  • I can wait for minutes or even a hour but nothing changes, is not a matter of waiting to download all the content.

Comments:

  • My impression is that I reached the limit of the possible locations and the page is not managing it anymore
  • The previous feature for displaying locations, by country and places, was way better.

Thank you to anyone will provide me some feedback!

    Hi Domenico,

Thank you for sharing. Sounds like you're having trouble with OneDrive – the scroll bar is gone in Photos, Explore, Places, See All and it's stopping you from seeing all your photos. I Understand how frustrating this would be, especially since you have a ton of geotagged pics and the old view was easier to use.

Based on my knowledge, it looks like OneDrive's web thingy isn't so good with lots of location-tagged photos. The scroll bar just vanishes when there are too many places listed, and zooming out doesn't really fix it. It looks like a bug.

Try using keyboard arrow keys to navigate or by accessing the Photos tab directly instead of the Explore view

May I ask can you scroll through photos okay in other parts of OneDrive, like in Albums or the main Photos area? And are you mainly using OneDrive in your web browser or the app on your computer?

Let me know if you have more info or questions. I'm happy to look at other things you can do to organize and view your photos better.

    Best Regards,

    Noel

    Hi Domenico,

Thank you for responding, you can try these alternative steps.

Restart OneDrive: Quit the OneDrive application, then relaunch it to refresh its connection and processes.

Reset OneDrive: Resetting the OneDrive application on your Mac can resolve sync and data issues.

Find the OneDrive icon in your menu bar, then select Quit OneDrive.

Locate OneDrive in your Applications folder, then right-click it and select Show Package Contents.

Navigate to Contents, Resources.Double-click on ResetOneDriveApp.command or ResetOneDriveAppStandalone.command. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.

Update OneDrive: Ensure you are using the latest version of the OneDrive app, as older versions may have bugs.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, contact Microsoft Support for technical assistance.

    Best Regards,

    Noel
