Hi @Justin Burns,
Thank you for posting your question to the Microsoft Q&A forum.
According to your concern about how to add Microsoft facilitator for Teams, we suggest you can follow this guideline:
- Requirements
To use the Facilitator agent, the following prerequisites must be met:
- A Microsoft 365 license which includes Microsoft Teams
- A Microsoft 365 Copilot license to initiate or edit the AI-generated notes/tasks.
- Your Microsoft Teams administrator must have enabled the Facilitator app in the Teams Admin Center.
- Loop experiences in Teams must be turned on in your organization, as the Facilitator uses Loop components for real-time, collaborative notes.
- Steps to enable facilitator
The Facilitator can be enabled within Microsoft Teams by following these steps:
Option 1: When scheduling a meeting
- Go to your Teams Calendar and select New Meeting.
- In the meeting details window, look for a toggle or option related to Facilitator or AI-generated Notes > Turn this on
Option 2: During an active meeting
- Join your scheduled Teams meeting.
- In the meeting controls at the top of the window, click on the "More" tab or the three dots menu (… or More actions).
- Look for an option like "Turn on Facilitator" or the Notes icon and select it. This will activate the agent for the current meeting.
Option 3: How to use Facilitator in a Teams chat
Facilitator can also work in a group chat by generating AI notes and summaries.
- In a Teams chat, look for an "Open AI Notes" option or an icon (like a diamond shape or similar AI indicator) near the chat header.
- Click this to switch the Facilitator agent on for the chat session, allowing it to maintain an up-to-date summary of key decisions and action items.
