When trying to opt in for continued support for windows 10 via windows update the email address it wants me to verify an email that is not mine. When I log into my account via the web all my account details are good and that other email address is nowhere to be found. Im on Windows 10 Pro.

    Hello!

You may have a different account linked to your Windows 10. Open Settings (Windows Key + I) > Accounts > Your Info > See the email below the user icon.

If it's the same email as yours, it may be a Windows bug. Unlink your account and relink it.

    1. Click on Manage > Then click on the option "Remove this account from this device".
    2. If the account is not unlinked, you can go to Windows Settings > Accounts > Your info > Sign in with a local account.
    3. After unlinking your email account from Windows, restart your PC > When it starts, relink your email account.
