Hi Glenda. What you're seeing are fake security pop-ups from a malicious website, not real system warnings. These come from a site like netchainspan.com tricking your browser into showing alerts that look official. They often appear after visiting certain pages or clicking “Allow” when asked to show notifications.

    Here’s how to stop them:

    1. Turn off notifications from suspicious websites
      • In Edge: go to edge://settings/content/notifications
      • In Chrome: go to chrome://settings/content/notifications
      • Find anything like netchainspan.com and remove or block it
    2. Clear your browser data
      • In settings, clear Cookies and site data and Cached images and files (choose “All time”)
    3. Reset your browser (if the popups keep coming)
      • Edge: edge://settings/reset → “Restore settings to their default values”
      • Chrome: chrome://settings/reset → “Restore settings to their original defaults”
    4. Run an extra malware scan just in case:

These alerts don’t mean your PC is infected, just that a bad site is trying to scare you. Let me know if they come back after this.
