Microsoft Edge - Wallet/Autofill Password outage

About 10 days ago all my passwords disappeared from Edge (I was on v140). After arduous back and forth with support, I was told it is a known bug in v140. They attempted to rollback to v138, however Windows Defender effectively blocked that process and I didn't have the patience to undo numerous security settings. I was told v141 will release a fix and this release would be imminent, I therefore opted to suffer and wait for 141.

I am now on 141 and I'm back to absolute no passwords, having lost everything I've re-saved in the past 10 days. More fool me for not exporting a back-up in the past week.

Does anyone know what's going on? I entirely relied on Edge in my business for password generation and storage and I feel like that trust has now gone. If I am to move away from Edge to say Chrome, I begin to wonder if simply Google Workspace is the overall solution.

Microsoft need to release a statement or some guidance ASAP to restore faith in the ecosystem.
