I am trying to investigate a fraudulent card transaction from the Microsoft store.

Somebody has used my debit card to buy Robux from the Microsoft store. I added my debit card details and was able to take a screen shot of the fraudulent transactions on the Manage my Payments page. However, I can't get the transctions to show up again so I can investigate further. The page reports "Something went wrong.

I later froze and then cancelled the debit card. Could that be the problem? Any ideas anybody. Thanks

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Sorry to know about this. Please check and try on a different browser and see how it goes. Also, you may try to check and see if you will be able to request and be granted of a refund as "Some Products are not eligible for return or refund; unless otherwise provided by law or by a particular offer, all purchases of these types of Products are final and non-refundable. Products ineligible for return and refund include, but are not limited to, the following:"

Digital apps, games, in-app content, in-app subscriptions, movies, TV shows, and associated content except Digital Game Products and Microsoft Subscription Services.

Third-Party subscription services billed through Microsoft.

gift cards and service/subscription cards (e.g., Skype, Xbox Live)

products that have been personalized or customized

special order products, if not part of a Store promotional offering.

    random access memory ("RAM") products.

services that have been performed or consumed.

clearance items or those marked with a designation such as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable".

Many thanks for your reply. I've tried different browsers.

I've now been given a refund by my bank, I will be issued with a new card/pin and I've removed the old card from my Microsoft account. I don't suppose my bank will even bother to contact Microsoft as it was a relatively 'small' amount and I doubt that they will inform me about any progress if they did investigate.

Still, I will try to follow up on the advise you have offered, if only to inform Microsoft and to help me with future security measures.

    👍

I'm not going to type it all in again. Briefly, I have been refunded by my bank and will try your suggestions.👍
