cannot access my microsoft account from my android phone

i open authenticator on my android phone and it gives me two options : Add account or begin recovery. So i select Add account which gives me three options and it does not matter which one i select as the results are the same (nothing happens) So i select begin recovery and it takes me to : Which account do you want to sign in with . so i select my email account and it takes me to enter password page .... i enter password... and it tells me this backup is not stored...... same answer I get with both my legitimate accounts. can you help me

May I know the domain of the account you use? It is a personal domain (outlook.com or hotmail.com) or it is organization email?
