Constant BSOD since upgrading to Windows 11

It seems to be happening at least once every hour or 2 (if I'm lucky).

I analyzed the mini dumps and the errors have been:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (this is the most common one)

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (most recent)

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I've tried running Windows updates but it says I'm all caught up.

I've tried doing Scan Now and Restore Health

I reinstalled my GPU driver (NVIDIA)

I did a memory test and that coulldn't find any problems

I did a disk check and it took about 20-30 minutes and did say it was fixing some stuff.

I haven't rolled back at all because I don't want to go back to Windows 10 since it will be losing support soon. I also had some issues with Windows updates ( https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5573545/cant-update-windows-10-or-upgrade-to-11-(error-0x8 before I upgraded but those had been resolved.

These are my most recent minidumps + the result from the disk check: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1DSbcWBpPUh4bDzgbcaA8qzedCZo1KCGo?usp=sharing

    Hi ,

Well, the minidumps report the same errors, whether kernel or processor/chipset. As you reported, it occurs after 2 hours of gameplay, and it could be temperature.

If it's a laptop or desktop, could you provide the laptop model or your desktop configuration?

    Thanks

    Hii,

Well, I mentioned a clean install because the edition you're using is at 23h2. However, if that's what you want, we can try to resolve the issue. Since the minidumps report an issue with the kernel and AMDPPM, there may be a problem with the chipset drivers or hardware.

First, open the command prompt (admin) and run the command:

    net user administrator /active:yes

After this, you'll uninstall the AMD drivers using the AMD Cleanup utility.

    https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/faqs/GPU-601.html

You'll enter Safe Mode and use the local administrator account to log in. Don't use your Microsoft account.

Wait for it to finish removing the drivers completely, then restart and return to Windows defaults. After that, log in to your normal user account and deactivate the administrator account with the command below:

    net user administrator /active:no

You'll use DDU to remove the Nvidia driver and reinstall it as a precaution.

    You can use DDU: https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/

Note: DDU is a third-party application to completely delete and reinstall the GPU driver.

    1. After downloading, extract DDU to a folder.
    2. Run the driver screen uninstaller.exe application, select the Model tab, and select GPU. After uninstalling the GPU driver, uninstall it for Nvidia.
    3. Click on the first option, "clean and reboot," and wait for the process to finish.
    4. After running DDU and install driver :

    Hi ,

I understand this method well. I recommend using the AMD Cleanup Utility to remove all drivers and install new ones. The idea is to install the drivers that may be causing conflicts, such as the chipset, AMD video, Nvidia video, or Asus refresh rate.

But you updated the same way, anyway. What matters is that it resolved the issue and there's no BSOD. I'm happy to help.

Give feedback if the information was useful or not.

    Thanks
