How can I turn on my Wifi on a HP Windows 8 Laptop?

hey, so randomly my wifi turned off, I’m using a HP windows 8 laptop. When I press on the networks button, it says that my wifi is off and I have no idea how to turn in back on. I don’t have any wifi drives or any of that, I tried to buy a free trial for my wifi protection but I NEED wifi to buy it. Someone please help, I just want my wifi back😞

    Hello, and I apologize for the late reply.

    If you open Control Panel from the Start Menu, then navigate to "Network and Internet" > "Network and Sharing Center" > "Change adapter settings", what do you see? Do you see your Wi-Fi network name anywhere?

    If you need, you can take a screenshot of this window (make sure to block out any network names) in addition to a screen shot of the Network Adapters section of Device Manager (you can search devmgmt in the Start Menu to access Device Manager), and I can help you from there.
