Microsoft GameInput causing crashes and restarts
Hey All, I'm having some issues with my computer for the past 5 days or so, it just restarts out of nowhere and I can't find the reason why, I checked the Reliability Monitor and the only thing that is seems consistent is that whenever I have a Microsoft GameInput update ( and it happens multiple times per day), my computer crashes just after it, here is one example:
I've already looked into similar posts like "Microsoft GameInput Application Reconfiguration Crashes Win 11 PC" articles, I've tried to uninstall the Xbox APP, I did all the pending updates on Windows, and the problem still persists, is there any other thing that I can do to at least have a better information on what is causing the crash on my computer?
Those crashes are not generating any memory dump so is being hard to debug, any help is appreciated!

2025-10-09T05:28:19.49+00:00 Hi, thank you for replying. Based on the logs you have, it is only displaying a general error and is unable to point out the main issue. In addition, let us make sure that there are no software-related issues on the PC. I suggest doing an in-place upgrade, wherein it will update the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.
Kindly follow the steps from this link:
Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware-related issues.

Let us run a clean installation of the Nvidia driver. This is different from doing DDU or updating the driver, as this will remove all entries and replace them with compatible ones. Kindly follow the steps from the link below:

Additional note: If the issue persists, I suggest removing the GPU and placing it into another PCIe port available (This is applicable if you are using a Desktop or an external GPU). However, if all fails, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the device for any hardware-related issues.

2025-10-06T19:31:10.4833333+00:00 Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!
I understand the issue you have. There is nothing to worry about. I am here to assist. This issue occurs when there is a miscalibration with the display driver or a corrupted system file, which is associated with Xbox and Microsoft Store apps. In addition, could you please check the System logs on the PC so that I can further examine the root cause of the issue?
To do this, kindly follow the steps from this link:
