Hello, I’m facing a conflict with my previous partner organization. I own the domain, but its MX records are hosted on their tenant. They refuse to remove my records from their system. Although I have ownership of the domain, I’m unable to create a new MX record on Microsoft. Is there a way I can contact Microsoft to remove my domain record from the previous company? Unfortunately, I don’t have direct business support to reach them. However, I do have evidence of my domain purchase.

You said you purchased and owned the domain, is the domain purchased via Microsoft? MX record is actually in the domain registrar's DNS record management, so the question is, do you have access to the domain registrar?
yes, I purchased the domain from GoDaddy. i also purchased the Microsoft 365 package from GoDaddy to use for the new email. but it tells me that the mx is already on Microsoft tenant. will it work if I try using another email platform like google or Zoho mail
Do you have admin access to GoDaddy? If so, you can remove the MX record there. and put Google's MX record there instead. When you said Google, I assume you have Google suite?

As long as you removed the records in GoDaddy that points to Microsoft, it shouldn't tell you it is already listed in another organization.

In GoDaddy domain DNS manager, you would add the MX, TXT and CNAME records for Google Suite, then remove the Microsoft one. This will stop the emails from going to Microsoft and they will start to come into Google.
