Hi All,

I am new to Copilot and have two questions. I am a Global Admin, and my users have both the Microsoft 365 E5 license and the Microsoft 365 Copilot license.

Below are requests from two of my users:

  1. The first user wants to enable the "Power Automate for Copilot" plugin.
  2. The second user wants access to the M365 Copilot Agents feature, which is publicly available but not accessible for his account.

Please guide me.

    Hello @Glenn Maxwell !

To enable Power Automate plugins and grant access to Copilot Agents, you'll need to deploy the appropriate apps and verify environment and licensing prerequisites. Here's how to proceed for each user.

    Power Automate for Copilot Plugin
Please note this feature is currently in preview. To enable it, you’ll need to deploy the Power Automate app from the Microsoft 365 admin center:

    • Go to Settings > Integrated apps > Available apps, search for Power Automate, and deploy it to the desired users.
    • Once deployed, users can create flows with the “Run a flow from Copilot” trigger in the default environment. These flows then appear in the Copilot plugins menu.
    • Note: It can take up to 12 hours for the plugin to appear in Copilot after deployment.

    M365 Copilot Agents

Agents are indeed publicly available, but access is controlled at the tenant and admin level.

    • As Global Admin, you need to manage them in the Copilot Control System within the Microsoft 365 admin center.
      • Navigate to Copilot > Agents to view, enable, or assign agents.
      • Users only see agents that are approved and deployed by the admin.
      • If the user doesn’t see the Agents feature, it’s likely because the agent hasn’t been enabled or assigned yet.

This way, you can deploy the Power Automate plugin through the admin center, and for Copilot Agents, confirm Copilot Studio is enabled—if the user still can’t see it, the rollout may not have reached your tenant yet.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions!
