How do I get back missing files from OneDrive?

I have lost many files in OneDrive. All the folders and sub folders are intact and only the files (mostly word, exel, power point and pdf) are missing. How do I get back my files?

Have you check your OneDrive Recycle bin? Go to onedrive.live.com and search it there if your files is available.

1. Check the Recycle Bin at onedrive.live.com — your files might have been accidentally deleted.
2. Search by file name or type using the search bar (e.g., .docx, .xlsx, .pdf).
3. Make sure you're signed into the correct Microsoft account.
4. If you use Personal Vault, check there too.
5. If you have Microsoft 365, try restoring OneDrive to a previous state from Settings.
