start up mulfanction

Question

So I turn on the computer and it gets stuck. Then I have to press the restart button for the process to complete after a very long time.
None of the tools windows give show any problem (hardware or software).
The warnings are about this writing to WebCacheV01 that take abnormally long time due to hardware failure.
There is a sound coming from the hard drive like it starts spinning again and that is happening all the time.
Is it realy that the disk is damaged because it seems really unlikely.
