So how does that work, I just don't use my laptop in the months between support ending and the ESU program being rolled out?
Also, I can't follow those steps because like I said, the Windows Updates page in Settings is blank ever since the last update.
Force the Windows 10 ESU Prompt?
I'm trying to avoid Windows 11 since from everything I've seen it's crap, but Windows refuses to send me the option to enroll in the Windows 10 ESU program. How can I forcibly see the option to enroll? First I was told to install the latest update, so I did, and now the Windows Updates page in Settings is blank. I just want to extend Windows 10, so please don't try to sell me on Windows 11 instead in the replies. I need the enrollment link.

Once it's available for your device, you can go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. A link will appear to enroll you in ESU.
If you meet all the requirements, an alternative is to force this option to appear in the updates section of the Settings app using the cmd. You can follow the steps published by Sumit Dhiman at this link: https://www.yourwindowsguide.com/2025/09/cant-enroll-in-windows-10-esu.html#gsc.tab=0
