I can't upgrade to windows 11. It comes up with a partition error message. I've followed the steps on https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/-we-couldn-t-update-system-reserved-partition-error-installing-windows-10-46865f3f-37bb-4c51-c69f-07271b6672ac#:~:text=Go%20back%20to%20the%20Disk,Change%20Drive%20Letter%20and%20Paths.

but when i tell the cmd prompt to add a y drive it doesnt seem to work - i dont understand the returns in the cmd window. i dont know where to go from here

thank you

Please open an admin Command Prompt window (instead of PowerShell) and run these commands one by one:

    mountvol Y: /s

    del /q Y:\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\Fonts\*.ttf

powershell -command "GCI Y:\ -File -Recurse | Sort Length -descending | Select FullName, Length, Mode -first 10"

    dir Y:\

    Post the output here.
