Authentication codes / number not prompting

I am trying to use Authenticator for my school websites. When it asks for the verification code or to input the number on the screen the requests never show up. I tried updating, reinstalling and nothing. Please advise asap! I need access to my school websites!

Hello Teresa,

I'm not 100% certain how your school website operates within the context of the Authenticator app. There are a few different "modes" of interacting with the Authenticator app though.

1. The account shows up in the Authenticator App and you need to click on it to see a code.
2. The account shows up in the Authenticator App with the code on the main screen.
3. The server pushes an auth request to the Authenticator App and you will need to enter/choose a two digit number that is displayed on the website.

When you login to the school website, does it ask you to enter a code on the website, or does it give you a two digit code and direct you to the Authenticator app?
