How will I know I will continue to get updates for win10 past 10/14/25?

My windows update section states my PC is enrolled to get Extended

security updates Yet I did not pay the fee! How do I know this is accurate

& if it is how will I get the updates past 10/14/25?

    Hi ,

    If you registered and selected the redemption option

    Free – This option is available if you're backing up files to OneDrive, regardless of whether you have a Microsoft 365 subscription.

    Microsoft Rewards – You can also redeem 1,000 points if you're enrolled in the rewards program.

    Paid – If you don't want to use the other options, you can pay $30 to access the program.

    Go to the Start menu > Settings > Windows Update > there will be a tab saying that you're registered to receive extended security updates. If it appears, everything is OK, after the end of support, you will receive ESU updates.

    1. Open the administrative command prompt.
    2. Paste this command and press Enter key:

    reg.exe query "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\ConsumerESU"
