File Manager's Home screen no longer displays my Quick Start folders. Please restore this, at least as a Settings option.
Followed your steps -- all options were already set as you advised, but I also did the suggested resets, then rebooted. Issue remains.
My post title has the build number wrong - it actually is 26220.6780, I suppose you noted that. I also reported this File Explorer issue on the Feeback Hub. The 6780 release notes did not give advice on where to report issues.

Here are some things to try:
Open File Explorer, click the 3 dots to the
right of View and choose Options.
Make sure there 2 are checked.
Also on that same screen click Restore Defaults and click Apply.
Now go to View tab, Reset Folders and Yes. Also, Restore Defaults,
OK and Apply.
Let us know if any of this helps.
There was an anomaly when I installed the 6780 update yesterday. Between the 7% complete notice and the restart at 30%, the installer said there had been an unexpected result (don't recall exact wording). It restarted at the 7% point. This happened twice, with no intervention by me. On the third attempt, the installer seemed to run to a normal completion.
Don't know how to do a Repair Install -- advice? Only thing I could see was to uninstall the 6780 update.

Might want to try a Repair Install:
Repair Install completed. No messages about anomalies during the process, but I still have the File Manager issue of not showing my Quick Start folders on the home screen.
Never mind, I went through your Repair Install note too quickly.
