Will it recognized a different SD card?
Can you please type msinfo32.exe in the search on the taskbar and hit enter, then share a screenshot of the pop up please.
My SD card on my hp laptop is not showing my SD card inserted on the side SD port. However that same SD card card is recognized via an USB port

The very odd thing is HP doesn't have driver at all for Win11, even though you device seems to meet Win11 requirement.

Try the driver above, and install it. see if it makes any difference.
