I see. Since you’ve already cleared the cache, data, and reinstalled the Teams app but it still won’t sign in, the issue is likely with your guest access settings. This error usually means the organization’s Teams settings are blocking mobile sign-in for guest users.

If you’ve done all the steps, please contact the Teams admin of the organization you’re trying to access and ask them to check the Azure AD External Identities settings. They need to confirm that mobile guest access is allowed so you can sign in properly on your Android device.

Thanks, Kristan. The error AADSTS90023 means there’s a problem with how the Teams Android app is processing your sign-in. Since your account works on your laptop, the issue is only on your phone. Try this: remove any Microsoft or Teams accounts in your phone’s Settings > Accounts, then clear the Teams app cache and data under Settings > Apps > Teams > Storage. Update or reinstall the Teams app from Google Play and try signing in again. If it still fails, your guest organization may have disabled mobile access for external users. In that case, ask their Teams admin to check if guest sign-in on mobile is allowed.

Hi Kristan, thanks for sharing your concern. To confirm, are you getting an error message when switching organizations in the Teams Android app, or does it just stop loading or did the error message include a code or “something went wrong” note?

    You can try these steps:

Open your Android Settings. Go to Apps > Teams > Storage. Tap Clear Cache and Clear Data.

Open Teams again and sign in with your account.

Check if your account is still listed under myaccount.microsoft.com/organizations and that you’ve accepted the organization invite.

Make sure the Teams app is updated to the latest version from the Google Play Store.

If the issue continues, uninstall and reinstall the Teams app, then sign in again

Please let me know how it goes.

    Regards,

    Arlene D.
