Earlier, my Windows 11 recognized my OnePlus Nord 5, and I transferred 150 GB of data from my PC to the phone's internal storage.

Now it gives the message when I connect the phone - "USB device not recognised. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, Windows does not recognise it."

In Device Manager, under USB controllers, the message "Unknown USB device (configuration descriptor request failed)" is displayed.

Interestingly, my other phones are recognised, and data can be transferred to them

    Hello,

It could be that your usb drivers are having issues, follow these steps to do a proper restart of the USB devices

Remove all devices connected to pc except for Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, shut down PC unplug PC after unplugging pc hold your power button down for 10 seconds, plug back in and start up.

The pc must start with no other devices attached to it so the USB drivers can start without detecting devices.

Then plug your device back in.

    Hope this helps,

    JC
