How to fix Windows 11 sound mute problem?

I am experiencing a persistent and disruptive audio issue on my laptop. The sound automatically goes mute at random times during use. When I manually unmute the system, the sound will frequently and immediately revert back to the muted state.
In addition, I sometimes observe a more rapid, critical failure where the system sound continuously and rapidly toggles between mute and unmute (flickering the volume icon on the taskbar), rendering audio completely unusable until the device is rebooted or put to sleep.

Have you tried reinstalling the speaker driver?
About the mute, is it muted by system or disabled and enable repeatedly? There's a chance that this could be a hardware issue.
Have you verified that there is no issue with your keyboard, especially the mute button? It may also a reason for this.
