My Clipchamp Text-to-Speech panel remains greyed out. The Azure Speech portal (https://speech.microsoft.com/portal) also hangs on ‘Loading subscriptions…’ Please refresh my Speech resource access token or confirm current TTS outage for personal Microsoft accounts. This has been ongoing for 2 days now

    Thank you for your earlier reply. I’ve followed all the recommended troubleshooting steps in full, including:

    • Closing and reopening the Clipchamp editor

    Updating Microsoft Edge and Windows

    Repairing and resetting the Clipchamp desktop app

    Clearing browser cache, cookies, and site data

    Confirming that no VPN, antivirus, or firewall is blocking Microsoft domains

    Despite all of this, the Text-to-Speech panel remains greyed out in both the Clipchamp web and desktop versions. The Language and Voice dropdowns stay on “Loading…” indefinitely, and Preview and Save remain disabled.

    To verify the root cause, I also tested the Azure Speech portal at https://speech.microsoft.com/portal, which stays frozen at “Loading subscriptions…” for over 15 minutes. This strongly indicates that the issue lies with my Speech resource access token or a current outage for personal Microsoft accounts, rather than a local configuration problem.

    Could you please escalate this case to the Azure/Clipchamp engineering team to:

    Confirm whether there is an ongoing Text-to-Speech service interruption for personal Microsoft accounts, and

    1. Refresh or re-provision the Speech API token associated with my Microsoft ID

    Thank you for posting your problem, I am here to help you today. Possible reason it is still greyed out is due to network restrictions, such as a firewall blocking necessary connections, or because of browser and application issues like an outdated browser, disabled extensions, or a corrupted installation.

    To fix this try this method:

    For Clipchamp Text-to-Speech panel remains greyed out:

    Refresh the Editor:

    Close the Clipchamp editor and reopen your project to ensure all elements load correctly.

    Check Your Browser or App Version:

    If you are using Clipchamp in a browser, ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.

    If you are using the desktop app, confirm that it is fully updated.

    For Speech resource access token:

    I would suggest to try update the application.

    Then if the issue didn't fix, try to reinstall the app.

    Check if the TTS feature is enabled in your Clipchamp account settings. To do this, log in to your Clipchamp account and go to the settings page. Under the "Audio" section, ensure that the "Text-to-speech" option is enabled.
