I´m running Win 11 Pro and have an irritating thing. I have set up facial recognition etc to log in.
When reading a document on the screen without moving the mouse or similar, the lock screen gets activated in seconds.
This is soo irritating and I´ve looked into every setting I can find in the PC without finding the solution.

Hey Björn! I totally get how frustrating it can be when your screen locks while you're reading something. It sounds like your lock screen timeout is set too short.

To adjust your screen timeout settings, you can follow these steps:

    Change Power Settings

      1. Open Power Options:
        • Right-click on the Start button and select Power Options.
      2. Change Plan Settings:
        • Under the Related settings section, click on Additional power settings.
        • Choose your active power plan and click on Change plan settings.
      3. Change Advanced Power Settings:
        • Click on Change advanced power settings.
        • In the new window, look for Display and then expand that section.
      4. Adjust the Console Lock Display Off Timeout:
        • If you can't find the setting, run the following command in an administrative Command Prompt to unhide it:
                  powercfg.exe -attributes SUB_VIDEO 8EC4B3A5-6868-48c2-BE75-4F3044BE88A7 -ATTRIB_HIDE

        • After that, go back to the advanced settings and set your preferred timeout period under Console lock display off timeout.
      5. Save Changes:
        • Be sure to save your changes before closing the windows.

      Please note:

      • If you're using a device linked to an organization, settings managed by Group Policies or Intune might override your personal settings.
      • If you have facial recognition set up, ensure that there is no conflict with the lock settings, as some configurations may enforce specific timeout rules.

    Thanks and Regards!
