Cannot Print Color Option when the Print Driver set Default Black&White.

Recently, our management upgraded the operating system from Windows 10 to Windows 11. After the upgrade, we only have the Photos app available to open pictures.

The issue is that when we choose the Color option while printing, the output still comes out in black and white. The print driver is set to Black & White by default, and the Photos app seems to follow the driver’s default setting instead of applying the color option selected within the app.

I compared this behavior between the Photos app and the Paint application. When printing the same picture in Paint, it prints in color without any issue.

In Paint, when you click More Settings, it opens the printer driver settings window, allowing you to change the print driver configuration and other options easily. However, in the Photos app, clicking More Settings does not open the printer driver settings. The available options are very limited.

If we want to locked print or manage print settings, there is no clear way to do so from within the Photos app.

I believe this is a bug that Microsoft needs to fix in the Photos app.

Photo app: Print > more setting> "the below option is appear" NO printing preferences option
