Yes! I have the exact same behavior.

    • Created a new SharePoint agent on a site
    • Approved that agent for the site
    • Made the new agent the DEFAULT agent
    • When visiting the site and clicking on the agent icon in upper right
      • The ORIGINAL default agent (The one created by Microsoft that is named after the Site) shows up
      • A browser refresh is required to get the correct NEW default agent to show up

    Dear Anurag Kumar Singh,

Thank you for sharing the issue with the SharePoint agent not staying set as the default despite notifications indicating it has been set.

This behavior commonly occurs due to synchronization or profile settings conflicts across devices. Here are some steps you can try to resolve it:

    1. Clear the cache and cookies on your SharePoint client and browser, as cached data can sometimes prevent settings from applying properly.

2.Sign out of SharePoint on all your devices, then sign back in on the device where you want to set the default agent, and try setting it again.

3.Check if there are any group policies or centralized management settings enforced by your organization that override individual device settings.

4.Ensure your SharePoint client and all related Microsoft 365 apps are updated to the latest version to avoid any bugs.

5.If the issue persists, consider resetting the SharePoint agent settings or reinstalling the application on the affected devices.

If none of these steps work, contacting your IT admin or Microsoft support team with detailed logs may be necessary for deeper troubleshooting.

I hope these suggestions help you resolve the problem.

    Best regards.
