When you use the on-screen keyboard or connect an external keyboard, do those keys work properly there?
some of my keys are not working
Typing this on a different laptop because my one is unusable.
On the keyboard, the keys C, M and Enter do not work. I have tried restarting the laptop, updating the keyboard driver, uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard driver, and factory resetting the laptop.
None of this worked, and now I am having to set the laptop back up after the factory reset, but I have to connect to WiFi during this process, which I cannot do due to the keys being broken.
Therefore, my laptop is not usable because some of my keys stopped working, seemingly immediately after the latest update.

2025-10-17T21:44:10.29+00:00 Thanks for your reply. Based on your description, and since the on-screen keyboard works properly, this sounds like a hardware keyboard issue.
Modern keyboards are designed to be compact and lightweight, making them sensitive to minor impacts and moisture. Even small drops or objects hitting the keyboard can damage the internal circuits.
Try cleaning or checking for any debris stuck under the affected keys.
