Downloads folder lists Desktop

Windows 11 File Explorer Downloads folder shows up as Desktop and Desktop does not show what is on my Desktop. I tried location restore to default and it did not fix it. There are two Downloads folder one for downloads and one shows my Desktop. How do I fix this?

    Hi Dee

    Win+R and type: regedit
    Navigate to:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

    Make a screenshot.
