Windows 10 Extended Security Updates starts and then goes away and I cannot get ESU.

When in Windows Update I have the Notice that Windows 10 support ends in October. I press the enroll now link and I get a pop up on the screen explaining the ESU program and in the bottom right a box to press for NEXT. I press the NEXT box and the screen says just a moment and in a couple of seconds the screen goes away and I am unable to continue enrollment.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dennis

    Hi Dennis,

The enrollment Window crashing is an ongoing issue.

    In the Windows search,

Type cmd, right-click it, and choose Run as Administrator.

    Execute:

    ClipESUConsumer.exe -evaluateEligibility

Let me know the output of the command.,

    Hi Sumit D,

    I appreciate your answer.

    When I run ClipESUConsumer.exe -evaluateEligibility

I receive the C:> prompt and nothing else

Do you have further steps that can help me?

    Dennis

Thanks, Dennis. I recommend running a repair install.

Try doing a repair install. A repair Install keeps everything, including Files and applications, and reinstalls Windows.
