MS Outlook issue

I pay an annual subscription to Microsoft for access to their 'CLOUD' and other MS services- it isn't cheap! In so doing I am obliged to use the latest version of MS Outlook. This version utterly baffles me and it has led me to doubt what emails I have and haven't received. Here's an example of what I mean. I issue Test T.006 to PII Removed, PII Removed and PII Removed. I want to find out who has issued and attached their responses to the test so I first filter my MS Outlook Inbox emails for PII Removed and find an email from him purportedly with a test T.006 set of answers attached..... however...... when I delve into this email, for 5 minutes or more, I find that there's a whole string of emails from others including one from PII Removed and PII Removed who have attached answers for test T.006. BUT IMPORTANTLY, PII Removed HASN'T ! Speedy inspection of the filter of my MS Outlook Inbox misleads me to conclude that he HAS! Please Microsoft go back to a version of MS Outlook where filters actually work! The filter issue is reason nr. 6 of 30nr. reasons why I find the latest version of MS Outlook an absolute car crash! I know your a bloody monopoly Microsoft but please think of your poor beleaguered paying customers and go back to an earlier version of MS Outlook where the filters are not so BADLY and time-consumingly misleading!

If you purchased a MS 365 Subscription and want to revert to Classic Outlook:

1 -- Make sure you have Classic Outlook installed on your PC

2 -- Configure your PC to always use Classic Outlook

I don't know how to get Classic Outlook- would that I could. I'm stuck with the latest un-user-friendly version of Outlook unless MS actually want to help me- a paying customer?
