Excel app on iOS immediately freezing

Ever since the Excel app was updated with a new UI it is freezing immediately upon opening, and making the app unusable.

All of the recent feedback shows this is a significant issue impacting multiple users.

    This freezing problem in Excel is a problem caused by the latest update to Excel on iOS, everyone is experiencing this problem at the moment, this is just a user to user forum, we need to wait for Microsoft to put out a patch for that update to resolve this problem.
