    Hi @Legendaryliz,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum, and thank you very much for reaching out to us.

Based on your description, you would like to remove retention policy, which might have been set up for your business account managed by GoDaddy.

Please note that as Microsoft Q&A moderator, I do not have access to your tenant configuration. But rest assured that I will assist you as much as possible through research and documentation.

Based on my research, may I verify that when you contacted Microsoft, have they mentioned that you or your admin can remove Retention Policy through Exchange Online PowerShell? If so, can you let me know what issues you encounter when follow this suggestion?
Additionally, when you mentioned calling Microsoft, could you confirm if you used the phone number listed in their official article or through third party support?

Thank you very much for your time, I am looking forward to your response.
