Hi Mia Rochford,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum. I completely understand how frustrating it can be when you can’t find your screenshots so let’s get this sorted out quickly.
On Windows, screenshots are usually saved here:
C:\Users<YourUsername>\Pictures\Screenshots
(Just replace <YourUsername> with your Windows account name.)
If you used Snipping Tool or Snip & Sketch, those tools normally ask where to save the file. If you didn’t choose a location, check your Pictures or Documents folder.
If you pressed PrtScn by itself, the screenshot isn’t saved automatically since it’s copied to your clipboard. You’ll need to paste it into an app like Paint or Word and then save it.
For quick access, open File Explorer and go to:
Pictures > Screenshots
I hope that clears things up. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out.
I’m happy to help.
