Hi Tomer Hai,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Based on your description, I understand that you are experiencing an issue where, after a recent update, when you accept an email invite for a scheduled meeting (Teams or Zoom), the accepted invite email only shows text information rather than clickable links to join the meeting. Is that correct?
I attempted to reproduce this issue on my Mac using New Outlook for Mac version 16.102 (apologies, I used a Microsoft 365 Business account as I do not have access to a Google Workspace account). Here is what I observed:
- When receiving an email invite for a meeting, everything looks normal initially. After clicking Accept (without adding a response message), the invite email disappears from the Inbox. In the Sent folder, I see an email indicating that the invite was accepted. However, when opening this email, it appears almost blank—there is no meeting information or “Join” button. From what I observed, this email is a reply to the original invite, but the original invite content is not displayed (which normally contains meeting details).
- However, when I check Outlook Calendar, I can see the meeting details and the “Join” button as expected.
It seems my observation is slightly different from what you described, so I may not have fully reproduced your issue. Could you please provide additional screenshots (with personal information or email addresses blurred) and any error codes (if shown)? This will help me better understand the problem and look for more targeted support.
Additionally, if this issue only started appearing after a recent update, you might consider switching back to a previous version where the issue did not occur. Please refer to this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac
Note: You will need to disable auto-update to prevent Outlook from automatically updating to the version that introduced the issue, until a new update is released that fixes this problem. To block automatic updates, open Outlook and go to Help > Check for Updates, then uncheck “Automatically keep Microsoft Apps up to date” (or equivalent) so the client remains pinned to the known-good version.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
