    Hi Harold Guidotti,

Good Day. I hope everything's well. Let's try to check some of your settings, and see if it can fix the issue.

First, check if spell check is turned on. Select all text in your document > Go to Review tab > Language > Set Proofing Language > Uncheck "Do not check spelling or grammar and Check "Detect language automatically. Make sure also English United States is selected > Click "Ok". Press "F7" to manually re-run spell check.

Second, check your proofing options. Go to File > Options >Proofing. Ensure that the following are CHECKED/ON under "When correcting spelling and grammar in Word":

    1. Check spelling as you type
    2. Mark grammar errors as you type
    3. Check grammar with spelling

Third, check if you are using the correct dictionary . Go to File > Options > Language. Make sure proofing language is installed, this can be seen under "Preferred Languages". If "Proofing unavailable" beside you language, click "Add Language" and reinstall English.

Fourth, repair or remove a custom dictionary. Just incase check your "Edit word list" if the words that aren't being flagged is listed (like fcondensed). Go to File > options > Proofing > Custom dictionaries > Select your dictionary and click "Edit Word List".

Last, try repairing your Microsoft Office. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Microsoft 365 > Change > Quick Repair or Online Repair.

I hope this fixes the issue.

    Regards,

    Jhun

The word "fcondensed" is definitely flagged here.

Try the following: Select the whole document content. In the Language dialog box (Review > Language > Set proofing language), choose the correct language, clear the option "Do not check spelling or grammar" and also clear the option "Detect language automatically." Click OK to confirm the settings (do NOT click Set as Default, since you are not changing the defaults in this case).

I also recommend that you modify the language for the Normal style. In the Apply Styles pane (Ctrl+Shift+S), type in Normal and click Modify. In the dialog box, click Format > Language. Select the correct language and also clear "Do not check spelling or grammar." Confirm with OK.

    The first suggestion worked:

First, check if spell check is turned on. Select all text in your document > Go to Review tab > Language > Set Proofing Language > Uncheck "Do not check spelling or grammar and Check "Detect language automatically. Make sure also English United States is selected > Click "Ok". Press "F7" to manually re-run spell check.
