Hi,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Community, I’d be glad to help with your OneDrive issue.
Before we get into troubleshooting, do you happen to know if the person who shared the OneDrive links set any restrictions? For example, were the links limited to specific Microsoft accounts or only accessible to people within their organization? That kind of setup could explain why you're seeing an "access denied" message.
In the meantime, it might help to ask the person who shared the files to check if they’re still available in their OneDrive and to re-share the links using the “Anyone with the link” option, if their organization allows it. Also, make sure the links haven’t expired or been disabled.
You could also try opening the links in a different browser or in a private/incognito window, just in case cached login info is interfering. And if the links were shared with a specific Microsoft account, make sure you're signed in with that exact account. Signing out of all accounts first and then logging in with the correct one can sometimes resolve the issue.
If the person who shared the files is part of a company or school, it’s possible their IT admin has restricted external sharing. In that case, the admin would need to adjust the settings to allow access from outside their organization.
Let me know how it goes . I’m here if you need more help!
Warm regards,
Edward
