IOS 26.0.1 upgrade and MS IOS program incompatible

Since Apple updated to IOS 26,0.1, Word and Excel does not work any longer. IF the file opens, I cannot edit any files. It does not respond to touching the screen.

I updated the software found in the App Store but it did not help. Obviously the Apple upgrade is incomparable with your IOS software.
