Unable to import Contact.CSV file exported from Outlook 365 into new outlook.

Hello all, I just exported my contacts list from my classic Outlook 365 and tried to import it into my new Outlook, but it keeps telling me "something went wrong", and to make sure it is a CSV file.

The file literally says Contacts.CSV....

The file itself is described as "Microsoft Excel Comma Separated Values File", is this correct?

And if it is, why can't I import it?

thanks

Hi! If you encounter issues during the import, double-check that your CSV file has the correct headers like Subject, Start Date, Start Time, End Date, End Time, Location, and Description and that there are no formatting errors. Ensure that the data types in each column match what Outlook expects.

Please try again following these instructions for both the Export and Import and report at what step it fails.

OK, I deleted the file and went step-by-step (per the help info) and exported another file, and saved it to a folder on my desktop. I checked the file, it looked to be ok, headers and info, and this time it imported without an error.

My contacts look to be ok in the new Outlook.

I must have done something wrong the first time, maybe the file was corrupt or incomplete?

Anyway, thanks for the fast help y'all!! Very kind of you to help me out.
