When my laptop got rebooted, I have lost the files. Help me restore the one drive files

    Thank you for reaching out about your OneDrive files. I understand how important it is to recover your files after an unexpected reboot. Losing important files can be stressful especially after a sudden reboot. Let’s work together to recover your data as quickly as possible

    OneDrive automatically syncs your files to the cloud and retains deleted files in the Recycle Bin for up to 30 days. You can restore them by signing in to OneDrive online navigating to the Recycle Bin and selecting Restore. If your files weren’t synced you might check the Previous Versions tab in File Explorer for local backups. Additionally OneDrive’s Restore your OneDrive feature allows restoring your entire OneDrive to a previous point in time within the last 30 days.

    Could you confirm if your files were syncing to OneDrive before the reboot? Also were they stored locally or only in the cloud?
