I can't remove a PC linked to my Microsoft account

I had an old PC that is still logged in, but it belongs to someone else now and I have no way to contact them. This person is changing my settings from their end, and, I presume, is able to access other information of mine. I'd like to remove the PC from my Microsoft account (or at least force it to sign out so I can change my password again).

When I log into my Microsoft account from the browser and navigate to Devices, I'm able to see the PC.

When I click "Remove device" I get this prompt:

When I click "Remove" it says "Device removed"

But then, the device is still there.

I've done this process multiple times. I've tried refreshing the page. I've tried signing in and out. I've tried multiple web browsers. Nothing seems to be removing the device. Please help. I'd like control of my account back!

This is a problem reported by many people where the removed device will keep appearing on the Microsoft account after it is removed, it is a server-side problem that Microsoft will need to resolve on their side, the best option is to open the Feedback Hub app and report this behavior to their developers there, the more people that report this, the sooner the problem will be resolved.
