I just installed the latest Microsoft update, and my touchpad has stopped working. I uninstalled the update as suggested in one of the troubleshoots posted, restarted my laptop, and it still isn't working. None of the Function/Fn keys helped with this issue either.

    1. Are you using Windows 10 or 11?

    2. What is the exact model of your device?

In the search bar, type MSINFO32 and hit Enter.

Please share a screenshot of that window.

In the meantime, please try the following:

    1. Press Windows + X and choose 'Device Manager.'
    2. Expand 'Mice and other pointing devices' or 'Human Interface Devices'
    3. Right-click on your touchpad driver
    4. Select 'Update driver.'
    5. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software"
    6. Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer."
    7. Select an older driver from the list and click 'Next.'
    8. Follow the onscreen instructions.
    9. If the issue persists, follow 1-3 then select 'Uninstall device'
    10. Proceed with the uninstallation and then restart your computer and check.
