Hi There,

Let me begin that I'm trying to redeem my Office Home & Business 2024 for two days now. So I'm pretty frustrated that all doesn't work.

  1. I build my own Desktop. Installed win 11, all works fine. I can login into my MS account ( do only see my old Desktop and cann't add the new Desktop with add device, but that is for another topic, all settings are made to sync to MS account ).
  2. When I login on MS account or via setup.office.com in normal Edge browser mode or incognito mode ( as well with Firefox normal mode of in private mode ), when you start out filling in the product key and downloaden the 64 bit version because you want to redeem the product you get redirected to a https://offline.officeapp.live.com/outage.html. This last redirection when wanting to download hick ups the whole process. So MS when are you going to fix this issue!!? And if anyone knows the workaround please enlighten us!!

    Hi,

In this case, you only need to download the 64-bit Office. Does it give an error when you try to install it, or does it simply not install?

    Thanks.

It is an error trying to download the 64-bit ; Service Unavailable / We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. / Please try again later.

So I'm not even getting to the installation phase itself. It looks like a server problem, getting overloaded!? A bit strange....

    Hii ,

Try offline installation from the link below:

    https://officecdn.microsoft.com/db/492350F6-3A01-4F97-B9C0-C7C6DDF67D60/media/en-US/HomeBusiness2024Retail.img

After the download is complete, disconnect from the internet > right click > select Mount > go to Windows Explorer > My Computer > select the Office icon > right click > open > Go to the office folder > Go to setup64.exe

Give feedback if the information was useful or not.

    Thanks
