Microsoft Launcher for Android won't open Words With Friends app

Microsoft Launcher for Android won't open Words With Friends app. The app will run if launched from App Info settings page or a different launcher such as Samsung One UI. However, nothing happens when app icon is tapped in MS Launcher app drawer. Why?
