Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.
The error message indicates that your Windows PC is failing to properly assign an IP address from the router.
You can try running a few troubleshooting steps and see if it helps.
Option 1. Reset network components.
Run these commands one by one Command Prompt (Admin) Window.
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
Once completed, restart your computer.
Option 2. Reinstall Wi-Fi drivers.
- Open Device Manager.
- Expand the arrow next to Network adapters.
- Right-click your default Wi-Fi drivers (Intel or Realtek), select Uninstall device, select the Attempt to remove the driver for this device check box, and then select Uninstall.
- Once uninstalled, restart your PC.
Windows will automatically install the drivers for your PC. If you're still experiencing the same issue, we can next manually change the IP address for your Network adapter (TCP/IPv4).
Let me know how it goes.
