You must add an account, before that you must make a password for My Virgin media.
Via https://www.mailjerry.com/virgin-media-email-settings/
- Sign in to My Virgin Media.
- Go to Account Settings → Account details.
- Under Virgin Media Mail, select Manage beside Virgin Media Mail App Password.
- Click Generate to create a new app password. Copy it. This is essential — the normal account password will not work.
- Open Outlook for Windows → Settings (gear icon) → Accounts → Add account.
- Enter your full Virgin Media email address (e.g., ******@virginmedia.com) and click Connect.
- When Outlook asks for your password, paste the app password you created earlier, not your normal login password.
- If Outlook does not detect your settings automatically, enter them manually:
- Incoming mail (IMAP):
imap.virginmedia.com - Port: 993
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Outgoing mail (SMTP):
smtp.virginmedia.com - Port: 465
- Encryption: SSL/TLS
- Authentication: Required (use your full email and app password).
- Incoming mail (IMAP):
- Save and restart Outlook.
Your Virgin Media emails should now start syncing properly in the new Outlook.
