My Hotmail account was being hacked, managed to stop it as received a message that was it me or not.

Now when I tried to login, it was asking for change password and not login me in, for the code entered my phone number that did not receive the text and asked to fill the recovery form.

Recovery form been failed few times. Now it saying too many attempts so try again after 24 hours.

I am happy to try again after 24 hours, my questions are ;

Tomorrow again I will have these 2 options - phone text and recovery form it did not work today what same happened tomorrow?

Is there a number on which I can speak to a person to understand and help me, rather than AI generated autoreply?

Anything else I can do to recover my account that has many important emails?

Many Thanks.

    Hi Arifa,

    Thank you for posting, I am here to help you. Are you using an personal, organization or school Hotmail account?.

    Regarding your question if Tomorrow again I will have these 2 options. Yes but, if you already submitted wait withing 24 hours for the Microsoft to send update on your provided working mail.

    You can submit Account Recovery Form up to two times per day using a device you have used to access your account before and from a similar location.

    The account recovery process is the last resort to prove ownership you need to answer questions that only the account owner can answer.

    If you unable to provide answers to be verified, the system won't grant you access.

    I will suggest you keep trying with Account Recovery Form as it is the only way you can restore access to your account.

    Answer as many questions as possible. If you’re not sure, guessing is ok — wrong answers don’t count against you.

    Use the information you created when you created your account or when it was last updated.

    Submit the information from a computer that you use regularly.
